About the Role

The Administration Officer is a pivotal role within our Queanbeyan branch which has a variety of key duties and responsibilties. The incumbent would be responsible for the day to day administrative and operational activities by providing assistance and support to the Branch Manager where reasonably required.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Switch board operations and assisting with enquires in a respectful manner.
  • Manage incoming mail from all sources
  • Assist with incoming/outgoing correspondence to customers, suppliers and technicians.
  • Maintain the main office with stationary orders and other office consumables in accordance with
    TMHA procedures
  • Process and invoice Purchase Orders
  • Assist with customer enquiries regarding short term rental and coordinating the fleet

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration is desirable
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Excel,
    PowerPoint and Word, Including data base, M3 type systems, SAP or similar
  • Previous experience in a fast pace working environment


  • Experience working within an industrial service sector, such as the materials handling industry or similar
  • Strong customer service skills and attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great telephone etiquette
